Pinnacle Firefighting Foams

Our Pinnacle foams are high-quality firefighting agents offered at an economical price. Pinnacle is available in four formulations to cover a broad spectrum of firefighting challenges. All four foams are designed for the maximum penetration possible while providing a durable, thick foam. These high-performance foams offer fast knockdown and maintain a quality blanket. The three Class B foams are manufactured using C6 fluorochemicals to meet the “environmentally friendly” recommendations of the US EPA PFOS Stewardship Program. All Pinnacle foams are suitable for use in Type III nozzles, monitors, foam tubes, CAFS and fixed suppression systems, including HCT’s CCS Systems and can be used with fresh, brackish or salt water.

Pinnacle Class A Foam

Class A fires are the most common fires encountered by firefighters.  In many cases, plain water is used, but economical, Pinnacle Class A foam makes water more effective.  In areas where water is not available, Pinnacle Class A foam can make the difference by making the water on your truck stretch farther.  Pinnacle Class A foam forms a thick, wet blanket that smothers, penetrates, clings and lasts.  Pinnacle foam is noncorrosive and environmentally friendly.

Pinnacle Class B AFFF 3% – C6

This quality foam spreads rapidly over the surface of the fuel forming a thick foam that seals the fuel and vapors. Pinnacle Class B AFFF 3% provides quick knockdown and prevents the fuel from spreading. It has been tested to comply with all applicable standards of UL 162, Foam Concentrates, and NFPA 11 and is UL Listed at a proportioning rate of 3% for all Class B, nonpolar fuel fires.

Pinnacle Class B AR-AFFF 3X3% – C6

In today’s world of ethanol-blended fuels for automobiles, Pinnacle AR-AFFF 3×3% – C6 was developed to extinguish both polar and nonpolar Class B fires. Pinnacle AR-AFFF 3×3% – C6 provides quick fire control by forming a thick, polymeric layer across fuels that mitigates vapors and self-seals if the foam blanket is broken. Pinnacle AR-AFFF 3×3% – C6 contains polysaccharides, which form a pseudo-plastic film on the surface of polar solvents. This Pinnacle foam provides more stability and better burn back resistance than conventional AFFF.
